Welcome To the Thomas F. Healy Post 16 Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Members of the Post meet the third Thursday of every month at 54 South Union Street Rochester, NY (at the Patchen-Briggs VFW). Come at 6:30 pm for a lite dinner, Meeting starts at 7:00.
Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 16 is named for Thomas F. Healy who is the first City of Rochester resident to die in combat overseas on foreign soil.
VFW Post 16 was chartered in 1916 and is the oldest active VFW Post in New York State. |

NOTES FROM THE COMMANDER AND OFFICERS.
Come to our next meeting to reunite with old friends, make new friends and enjoy each others company. Come early and join the guys playing cards around 6pm! A Lite dinner is served at every meeting about 6:30-7.
Please , Let us ALL remember in thoughts and prayer our soldiers, sailors and airmen who are serving now to help end terrorism. Our prayers are with them.
Now is the time to get a Life time membership in the VFW. Costs will be going up as has the dues for our post. Contact Hy Golman, Post Quartermaster, about making installment payments for a life time membership.
